g'day mate!
we ask a lot of time to apologize for the almost criminal neglect of our and of course, but also of your blogs. the fault lies not with us, of course, but in the infinitely slow, but also very expensive internet connections in Australia and New Zealand.
budget for it to anticipate that both countries are not right in our shop. Australia is much less than New Zealand. Therefore, we have shortened our time-travel in Australia and some are now already in Kiwiland.
way to Australia now: our warm up was a bit bumpy. our flight to Darwin was delayed 2 hours. The worst was the fact that we missed our connecting flight to brisbane would have if this was fortunately not very gecanceled in turn would be. So we were booked on the next flight 8 hours later and were able to explore the environment of the Darwin airport. very warm and friendly. a beer they wanted to sell us on the morning, however, and our methadone to alcohol, so the internet cost 12 $ / h. the coffee was good too.
duty officer and the really very friendly to us pointed out that it rains in Brisbane, we met with the same beginning to the limits of our knowledge of english. to: "there's rain down in brisbane" we both answered: "who is Rayne?"
arrived in Brisbane we took the bus to glodcoast because we are in surfers paradise jules mom gabi and your party, wanted to meet friends, consisting of two or more favorable because the train had technical problems and not operated on until further notice.
thanks to Gabi's tortuous channels and contacts we resided the first few nights in a 5 * luxury hotel, where we were, it also already received warmly. It would be a lie, we would argue that it would be great have been again in a big and confortable to be allowed to sleep with bed bugs bed not tainted. Thanks to these contacts we were able to later in Q1, the highest bed family house in the world and free to the viewing deck on an equally complimentary cocktail. (Many thanks and best regards to ines and basti)
with gabi and their clique, we went in the car (ford falcon, 4.0 liter six-cylinder) with max. 110 km / h according to the largest sand island frazer Iceland the world. The scenery is beautiful breathtaking. Gabi's friends while we sat in brisbane on the way back to the train to Sydney, we drove to third in the same direction and stopped really beautiful beaches and bays, slept in motels and let us go really well.
gabi in sydney, we set off again for the other two and moved to a shabby backpackers as a base camp for our climb sydney. the city is very beautiful and has great museums are exploring Fortunately, for the most part occurs as free. It has been raining a lot and we realized that we do not largest staedtefans are.
the most fascinating in sydney greyheaded the flying foxes were, therefore, the flying foxes. they fly at night to thousands over the city, which is so called, of course gotham city. during the day they sleep in the trees of the botanical garden.
then we met again with gabi in Sydney after she was back in the blue mountains. now they said goodbye with a cool breeze and a light beer.
in melbourne we have some nice people from Sweden, England and Denmark met again and spent much time in museums and exhibitions.
we are currently in southern New Zealand and enjoy our beautiful landscape and the fresh air, are very healthy and uebergluecklich with our amazing campers. more below.
